Three years in Bourbon barrel and finished for 7 months in an Agave barrel.
A cracker of a whisky!
Typical bourbon notes of caramel and vanilla on the nose with delicious honeycomb and some leather notes coming through. Full oily mouth feel with an extra richness from the agave barrel. Orange citrus notes with the addition of nougat followed by a hint of dark chocolate. A long finish with a hint of smoke on the back palate. A nice nod to the Agave influence!
